OUR COURSE

Getting Your Skydiving License

Our course is all about combining Wind Tunnel and AFF. It is simply a better way to learn how to skydive. AFF has been the best way to learn how to skydive to date, and the wind tunnel is now the best way to learn aerial skills in a controlled environment. We are just mixing the best parts of both worlds.

In The Classroom

Your first two exciting days of getting your skydiving license will be spent on the Gold Coast. During our First Jump Course, you will be taught all of the theory involved with skydiving and you will get to fly in the wind tunnel.

In the classroom, you will be taught:

  • How to exit an aircraft
  • About the skydiving equipment you will use
  • Sensory overload and how to overcome it
  • Freefall objectives and height awareness
  • How to activate your main parachute
  • How to control your main and reserve canopies
  • Steering yourself to the landing area
  • All emergency procedures

The Tunnel

During the course, you also get to spend 30 minutes in the wind tunnel. The tunnel will give you the tools and confidence to be able to fly with good stability in the sky. These 30 minutes in the tunnel will be broken down into:

  • 10 Minutes – IBA Fast Track Course. This course covers nearly all of the Freefall skills you will learn in your whole traditional AFF course, and you will have more Freefall time already.
  • 10 Minutes – Refreshing and refining skills learned during the Fast Track course
  • 10 minutes – Here you will be wearing skydiving equipment. You will be practicing the skills you will need for real jumps in the sky and to get a feel for the gear

At the Dropzone

Your next 2-3 days will be spent at a drop zone. By now you will be starting to feel a little like a skydiver. Now you will complete your skydiving course using all of the skills that you have just learned on the Gold Coast.

At the end of a normal AFF course, you will have 9 jumps but only 8 minutess of freefall. At the end of our course you will have 6 jumps and around 35 minutes of freefall. It’s a no brainer. When you skydive after a traditional AFF course you will have to complete another 30 jumps to achieve the same freefall time and probably the same freefall skill level that you will have reached by combining tunnel flying with skydiving on completion of our learn to skydive course.

This is a completely unique course and we are the only company who can offer it. The total cost for this course is $2900.
